WHO ELSE HAS YOUR DOCTOR'S EAR?
Will "EBM" improve or ration health care?
The U.S. Congress and the Minnesota legislature have recently passed laws to change the way doctors make medical decisions. Federal and state agencies will begin deciding which treatments are "evidence-based medicine" (EBM)ล and will pay doctors based on the doctor's adherence to these government-prescribed treatments. The initiative is controversial. Come hear from speakers on both sides of the issue. Decide for yourself how EBM will impact patient access to individualized, customized health care services.
